Website Process
1. Consultation
Our development process begins with a face-to-face meeting to get an understanding of your needs as the client. If distance is an issue, phone conferences can also be arranged. Based on this original meeting, a detailed proposal is presented for your review. The proposal is reviewed and edited as needed. Proposals are constructed in an itemized structure allowing you to pick and choose what you start out with.
2. Plan
Upon accepting our proposal, we will organize a detailed outline of your web site for your review and approval.
3. Concept
Based on your initial consultation, Dooley New Media will design a concept design of your web site to provide you with an idea of the look and feel of the final web site. You will have the opportunity to request another layout if the original is not to your liking or have revisions applied to the original concept prior to production.
4. Development
The development process for websites can vary between one and six or more weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. Throughout the process, you will be advised regarding progress. Benchmarks will be set for client approval and revisions.
5. Review
Upon completion of your web site, we will upload the website to our server for your review, followed by a conference to discuss and take note of any changes which need to be made prior to launching your web site.
6. Launch
Upon approval of your final design, we will upload the site to your hosting account.
7. Maintenance
After the initial development process is over, Dooley New Media provides maintenance on an ongoing basis to our clients to keep their web sites fresh and up-to-date. |
